SPARK EH

Electric Precision. Hydraulic Capability. One Machine.

The SPARK EH combines electric servo clamping and injection with hydraulic ejection, injection shift, and core-pulling in a single integrated machine. Electric plasticising delivers up to 50% energy saving. 4 patented technologies including Auto Stress Release (ASRS) and ALL-Adapt protect part quality and handle everything from 0.25mm ultra-thin wall to 20mm ultra-thick wall.

Hydraulic ejection, injection shift, and core-pulling are built in, so there is no need for a separate hydraulic power unit alongside your machine. Patented circular platens, closed-loop injection pressure control, and 15″ EtherCAT touchscreen with OPC-UA connectivity. For manufacturers who want electric clamping precision with full hydraulic capability ready to go.

FAQ

01 What Is The Difference Between The SPARK AE, EH, And HB?

All three share the same SPARK platform and 4 patented technologies. The difference is how much of the machine is electric versus hydraulic. The SPARK AE is 100% electric across all axes.

The SPARK EH uses electric clamping and electric injection with hydraulic ejection, injection shift, and core-pulling. The SPARK HB uses electric injection and plasticising with hydraulic clamping, ejection, injection shift, and core-pulling.

Choose the AE for maximum precision, cleanliness, and energy efficiency. Choose the EH for electric clamping precision with built-in hydraulic capability. Choose the HB for electric injection quality at a lower investment with a wider tonnage range.

Agile Boost Control (ABC) optimizes motion profiles for each axis. Auto Stress Release System (ASRS) monitors screw movement in under 1ms and uses a patented counter-pressure mechanism to release internal stress, improving part quality.

ALL-Adapt (AA) enables a single machine to handle everything from 0.25mm ultra-thin wall to 20mm ultra-thick wall. AxP with Floating Point Toggle dynamically adjusts the ball screw for collision protection while reducing noise and shortening cycle times.

The SPARK AE is designed for production where precision, cleanliness, and repeatability are critical: medical devices and consumables, optical components, consumer electronics, connectors, thin-wall packaging, and high-end toys. Its oil-free operation and low noise make it suitable for cleanroom-adjacent environments.

The SPARK AE replaces hydraulic power with electric servo motors on every axis. This eliminates hydraulic oil from the production environment, reduces energy consumption, lowers noise, and delivers higher precision and repeatability.

The trade-off is a higher initial investment and a narrower tonnage range (100-360T). For applications where part quality, cleanliness, and tight tolerances drive profitability, the SPARK AE delivers a lower total cost of ownership.

ALL-Adapt is Chen Hsong’s patented full-range adaptation technology. It allows a single SPARK AE machine to handle both ultra-high-speed injection for thin-wall products (down to 0.25mm) and high-pressure holding for thick-wall products (up to 20mm), with strict overflow prevention at both extremes.

This eliminates the need for separate machines for different wall thickness applications.

Yes. The SPARK AE supports EUROMAP 12, EUROMAP 67, and EUROMAP 18 robot interfaces. OPC-UA connectivity is standard for integration with factory automation and MES systems.
