iChen™ Cloud’s IoT module connects injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment to the platform through industrial gateways supporting MQTT, Modbus, and OPC-UA protocols over wired, wireless, 4G, and 5G networks.

Each connected device is assigned a unique digital identity and modelled within the system, enabling structured data collection at high speed. Equipment status, cycle data, alarms, and efficiency metrics are synced to cloud dashboards and on-site displays in real time.

A built-in rule engine handles anomaly detection and automated responses, and the module provides standard data exchange interfaces for integration with ERP and other enterprise information systems. It manages the full quality loop from incoming inspection (IQC) and in-process control (IPQC/SPC) to final inspection (FQC) and customer feedback (CSR). The module provides visual analysis through charts, histograms, and Pareto diagrams to monitor process consistency and equipment performance against pre-set parameters.

 iChen™ Cloud operates on an annual subscription model, priced per connected machine. It delivers full enterprise-grade MES capability at a lower total cost of ownership than traditional platforms, with no large upfront licensing fees.

Chen Hsong also offers bundled packages and promotional rates for new deployments. Contact our team for a quote tailored to your setup.

iChen™ Cloud supports all current Chen Hsong machine series. For factories running a mixed fleet, the platform can also connect to other brands of injection molding machines through standard industrial protocols including Modbus, OPC-UA, and MQTT via the AIoT gateway.

Auxiliary equipment such as chillers, dryers, and robots can also be connected. For older or legacy machines, the iChen™ Cloud team will assess compatibility before deployment.

iChen™ Cloud Core can go live within days if the network environment is ready. Pro deployments, which include ERP integration and custom dashboards, typically take 8 to 16 weeks.
